DAVE KOZ TEAMS UP WITH VIRAL SENSATION SEXY SAX MAN, SERGIO FLORES, AND BOB SAGET FOR “LET IT SNOW” SAXY SLEIGH RIDE SERENADE MUSIC VIDEO

In the “Let It Snow” Saxy Sleigh Ride Serenade video, which premieres today, saxophonist Dave Koz teams up with viral sensation Sexy Sax Man, Sergio Flores, to serenade unsuspecting passengers being given a Lyft ride by actor/comedian/author Bob Saget (“Entourage,” “Full House,” “America’s Funniest Home Videos”), who plays the “Best. Driver. Ever.” The video, which was created by UCLA graduate film students, Zach Marion (director) and Emma Kragen (cinematographer) of Zemma Productions, can be seen at http://youtu.be/1kEnljO_mDk. Merriment, mayhem and mustaches abound as the saxy duo bring on the holiday cheer with a raucous rendition of “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” – although Sergio can’t resist an opportunity to disembark midway and perform for the patrons of the famous L.A. hot dog joint Carney’s on Sunset Blvd. (After all, he racked up nearly 25 million views by pranking diners in his “Careless Whisper” video.)

Koz’s duet of “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” with another sax legend – Kenny G. – is currently in the Top 20 at A/C radio and about to hit Top 10 on the Mediabase Holiday Music chart. The song appears on Dave’s new album, The 25th of December (Concord Records), which just received an NAACP Image Awards nomination for Outstanding Jazz Album. The 25th of December has spent five consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Current Contemporary Jazz Album chart, marking the nine-time GRAMMY® nominee’s seventh album to top the chart. Meanwhile, “All You Need Is Love,” the album’s first single, is a Top 5 hit on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Songs chart.
