"Honey Dipped" at Pizza Express
Just returned from a fantastic week long trip to London, England where we played 6 shows at the famous Pizza Express jazz club in Soho. Brian Simpson and Nick Colionne were my cohorts on this triple bill, put together by our friend Jimi King of Sky.fm. It was a wonderful return to this amazing city, and the folks in attendance at this intimate, hot little club were some of the best I've seen in a long time. Every show was sold out—even before we actually arrived in London. Needless to say, we all had a blast. My heartfelt thanks to Jimi, Nick, Brian and the whole Pizza Express staff for making this trip truly memorable. This clip was the first piece of music we played on opening night...Brian, Nick, 2 wonderful UK musicians (Frank Felix on bass and Tony Mason on drums) and yours truly—an 'English version' of "Honeydipped".
